It’s another fantastic day!

I’m a kind of person who sees the glass as half full, I have rose tinted glasses and I do believe in fairies, ‘Imagine, Dream, Believe’!

Positive thinking is part of my life, it is so important to my whole being.  Without positive thinking I would not have a career, a wonderful family or great friends.  I am grateful for it all.

I’ve not always been so positive about life in the past, but I have travelled a long way in my head over the last 8 years.  I’m sure you can do it quicker than me by taking a few short cuts!

It’s not always easy to keep a positive head but I’ve learned that,

“Happiness depends upon ourselves.” (Aristotle, 384 – 322 BC).

As Rhonda Byrne describes in the Secret,

“Joy attracts more joy. Happiness attracts more happiness. Peace attracts more peace. Gratitude attracts more gratitude. Kindness attracts more kindness. Love attracts more love.

Your job is an inside one. To change your world, all you have to do is change the way you feel inside. How easy is that?” (Byrne, 2008).

I’ve learnt to use different techniques to change the way I feel inside.  This can be done quickly by reading books like the Secret, I’ve had the Secret for many years and found it really useful when I’m feeling negative, just to pick it up and read through a chapter.  It takes practice but it does happen.

I’m not sure how, but each time I read a chapter of the Secret (I have read the whole book several times), it helps to pick me up, remind me what I am grateful for and I have the ability to think so much happier.

I have also benefitted from studying Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP).  This is such a useful and helpful way of understanding the world we live in.  Using tools such as anchoring, and being in touch with Limiting Beliefs, you can control your phobia’s, develop more confidence, improve how you communicate, and totally change your life.  NLP can be learnt through workshops and courses, but there are a few useful books around too.  I particularly like this one;

I’ve got a busy day ahead, as usual, and before I wrote this post I woke before my alarm rudely interrupted, read two chapters of the Secret and typed out this post.  My alarm has just reminded me it is now time to tackle the day.

Have a fantastic day everyone.
